Account Executive - Fundraising

Job Description

As an Account Executive for the fundraising market, you will work with developed strategies to generate interest, establish and grow relationships, and consult with prospects through the sales lifecycle to help grow haku's book of business.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SaaS sales
  • Experience in the fundraising industry preferred
  • Proven track record of consistent success as an individual contributor
  • Experience in relationship-building and consultative approaches to sales and relationship management
  • Ability to meet goals on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Strong work ethic, motivation, and desire to learn
  • Embrace and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment


  • Generate new business through prospecting activities, nurturing inbound leads, and other developed strategies
  • Develop trusted relationships with prospects and clients and be adept at identifying the critical business needs they face
  • Consistently exceed your quarterly and annual goals and earn incentive-based compensation accordingly
  • Become a fundraising industry expert in navigating a consultative and strategic sales process with prospects
  • Update and maintain all sales activities, opportunities, pipeline, and account information in our CRM
  • Work with Product Marketing to better understand the product and cultivate messaging strategies
  • Work closely with our product team to share customer feedback, observations of customer challenges, and new ideas or features that would enhance the customer experience.
  • Proactively seek knowledge of industry competitors and emerging trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
