The Fine Print:

As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled service and technical expertise within diverse and dynamic computing environments. These environments consist of multi-vendor equipment using a variety of protocols and services.  You will be responsible for many levels of network and desktop support and network designing activities, some of which will be the ability to diagnose and solve critical networking issues in a short amount of time. 

Day to Day:

  • Support & manage SMB network environments
  • Ability to successfully troubleshoot and resolve incoming issues
  • Optimize network systems to enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Diagnose, log and resolve network and desktop user issues
  • Update network diagrams for existing systems
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical team members and clients
  • Perform configuration management activities
  • Able to travel to and from client locations
  • Rotating on-call duties

  • Certification: current Microsoft and\or Cisco

What You MUST Have (very important):

  • 2+ years supporting SMB clients 
  • 2+ years’ experience in network administration & support
  • 2+ years desktop support
  • 2+ years Windows Server support
  • Ability to travel daily between client sites
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016 applications
  • Working experience supporting SonicWALL and WatchGuard appliances
  • Working experience with Cisco switches and routers
  • Hands-on experience with the following technologies: Active Directory, Citrix, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VMWare, Office 365, Mac
  • Willingness and desire to expand on current technical knowledge
  • Superb troubleshooting skills and a tenacity to resolve issues
  • Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms

Pay commensurate with experience.
