  • Engage in content audits on behalf of clients and determine gaps for opportunities
  • Edit and optimize content written provided by other Groover resources for placement on blogs and other media
  • Author, edit or proof blog posts, press releases and social media updates
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the clients buying personas and tone of voice while writing copy
  • Researches trending topics within our clients’ industries
  • Understands who the client’s ideal customers are and creates buyer personas
  • Writes optimized content for client websites as needed
  • Work with marketing team to identify opportunities for content like press releases, eBooks, case studies and white papers
  • Assists in formulating a content promotion strategy as well as campaigns
  • Collaborates with OMS, Team Lead, Account Managers, the Marketing Services Manager, Director of Marketing Services and clients when necessary.


  • 2+ Years Work Experience in Online Marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, eBusiness, English or related field
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills; journalism or writing background preferred
  • Able to turn thoughts and ideas into marketing copy
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to improve organic rankings and manage online reputations
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach to work
  • The ability to work in an open, collaborative environment
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Agency and client-facing background preferred
  • Become Google Analytics certified within first 90 days of employment
  • Become HubSpot Inbound and HubSpot Certified within 90 days of employment


  • Knowledge of basic HTML
  • Knowledge of HubSpot or Magento
  • Inbound Certified
  • Google Analytics and AdWords Certified
  • Market Motive Graduate
