Project Information Manager

Computational Design | London | Full Time

Job Description
Grimshaw's London studio is seeking a passionate and talented Information Manager to lead Information management on one of the biggest and more prestigious Grimshaw aviation project, & support architectural teams in the use of information exchange tools & workflows.

The Information Manager collaborate closely with the Project BIM manager and directly oversees Document controllers. He also provides technical support directly to project team members. The role regularly reports to the Office BIM Manager on the progress of the assigned project, providing feedback on the requirements for training, workflows or content.

Core responsibilities of the Information Manager role will include: 
•Assist the client to define their BIM vision and information requirement
•Establish the Information management strategy of the project in collaboration with the project BIM management team
•Enable reliable information exchange through the definition and the implementation of the project Common Data Environment
•Assist the Project BIM Management agreeing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) with the Client and Consultants.
•Provide technical support and training to project teams and guide them on Information management related matters.
•Pro-actively distributing/advising the team when information relevant to their elements of work are received or issued

•Ability to work within a large team

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS 

•Knowledge and experience with BIM collaborative working processes BS1192:2007, BS1192:4, PAS1192:2,3 4, CIC BIM protocol.
•Advanced knowledge and experience of ProjectWise.
•Advanced knowledge and experience of Autocad and Revit.
•Experience of scripting is beneficial.
•Experience with leading & managing a team is beneficial.
•Experience with large-scale projects & teams is beneficial.
•Experience with training.
