Bid Coordinator
Business Development | London | Full Time | From GBP £38,000 to GBP £40,000 per year
Grimshaw Architects is looking for an organised, detail-focused Bid Coordinator to join our Business Development team in London. You'll provide essential coordination and administrative support throughout the bid lifecycle — working with Business Development, Marketing, Bid Specialists, Bid Designers, Project Leaders and Partners to help deliver bids, proposals, framework submissions and competition entries that are compliant, well presented and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating PQQs, tenders, proposals, framework submissions and expressions of interest.
- Managing bid programmes, action trackers, document registers and checklists.
- Liaising with internal teams and external consultants to gather information to deadline.
- Formatting and quality-checking submission documents and supporting materials.
- Maintaining the bid library, project database and BD systems.
- Supporting bid reviews, kick-off meetings, reporting and lessons learned.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting bids, tenders or business development, ideally in architecture, engineering, construction or the built environment.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident with Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat/InDesign experience a plus.
- APMP Foundation qualification, or willingness to work towards it.
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
Previous experience in professional services or an architectural practice is desirable but not essential — if you don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you.
