Green Cloud:: Cloud Specialist
The right candidate:
You have: a good attitude, and a desire to learn and move up in the company as we grow.
You are: driven to learn as much as possible, and willing to take on new projects and own them.
You will: project confidence and professionalism when working directly with customers.
You can: demonstrate familiarity with server virtualization in general, as well as hands-on experience with server virtualization, basic server management and administration (Windows/Linux), and basic data networking and routing (LAN/WAN) ability, as well as good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
We will strongly consider candidates with the following qualifications:
- Administrative experience with VMware server and desktop virtualization platforms.
- Intermediate routing, switching, firewall, IDS/IPS and virtual private networking experience
- Experience with Storagecraft, Veeam, Zerto backup solutions.
Cloud Specialist Job Details:
You will provision our partner's Virtual Server, Virtual Desktop, Disaster Recovery and Backup services. You'll be using technologies like VMware vCloud and vSphere, Storagecraft ShadowProtect and ImageManager, and the Veeam suite of backup products. We add new products regularly, so this list is subject to change. You will be our partners’ first point of contact on any new order and therefore we'll need you to communicate well and willingly.
You will be supporting all our cloud services after install. The Green Cloud approach to support is that we want our specialists to be able to solve the customer's problem on the very first call, which means we'll be working very hard to train you on all our products and services very quickly. You'll be handling calls on anything from server problems to network issues to billing questions. This is not a position for folks who like to do the same thing, day after day.
