Customer Service Attendant - Takeout - Lucia's

Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Attendant - Takeout, you will be the face of Graziano’s for our takeout guests. You’ll handle phone and online orders, greet customers picking up food, ensure orders are packaged accurately and neatly, and maintain excellent customer service throughout the experience. You’ll also support the team with additional front-of-house duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service at the takeout counter.

• Answer phone calls to take orders, confirm pickup times, and assist with customer inquiries.

• Manage and package all takeout orders with attention to accuracy, presentation, and cleanliness.

• Coordinate timing with kitchen staff to ensure orders are complete and timely.

• Handle payments (cash, credit, debit) and operate POS system efficiently.

• Issue refunds or adjustments with manager approval.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout area.

• Restock takeout supplies including utensils, napkins, condiments, and packaging materials.

• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Provide information about menu items, bakery selections, and catering offerings.

• Assist with light cleaning duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling money accurately.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience in customer service, takeout, or restaurant environment preferred.

• Must successfully complete Graziano’s training course.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

• Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
