POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
A respected wholesale cannabis company is looking for a sales individual. This position will help maintain vendor orders and customer service relations. This includes working with inventory managers to keep track of inventory and outgoing orders.
Specific responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Contribute to a positive & energetic environment
Maintain professional standards in marketing, sales & customer service
Customer interaction to promote products & services
New account acquisition & customer retention
Interact with customers daily to review current promotions, provide service quotes and sign on new accounts
Work strategically on sales campaign
Effectively communicate thoughts and ideas with peers
Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing and/or potential sales outlets, and other trade factors
Knowledge of inventory and wholesale menu
Study existing and potential dispensaries and revenue generating outlets
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
Maintaining inventory presence, orders, and client communication via CRM
Inputting and tracking orders via CRM
Monitor Accounts Receivable
Providing consistent communication with Inventory managers
Provide customers with accurate product pricing and delivery information
Preparing weekly, monthly, annual reports and sales trends to be shared with management
Work closely with the marketing team

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years or older
Wholesale experience
Established relationships in the Cannabis industry
Relationship management experience
Proficient use and knowledge of CRM
Must be able to multitask and work in a high energy sales environment that is goal/quota driven
Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve inventory issues effectively and efficiently
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent, upbeat, and positive attitude in order to directly work with potential clients and employees
Knowledge in developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to meet deadlines
Other Skills and Qualifications
Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in order to manage the diverse tasks
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Interface, CRM
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance.
Travel Requirements
Must have reliable transportation and be available to travel to various locations if needed. Travel may be required on a local, regional, or national level for Sales activities and or to attend conferences/workshops related to the organization.

The employee is regularly required to walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Prolonged sitting or standing may be required, 8 hours plus. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility normally associated with Sales will be performed on a repetitive basis. The ability to distinguish letters and symbols, as well as the ability to utilize telephones, computer terminals and copiers is required.
