Gourmet Gorilla is looking for a Lead Cook to  add to our growing, large batch cooking from scratch culinary team!  This position will be very dynamic and requires attention to detail and to be very organized.

Gourmet Gorilla is seeking a dedicated cook experienced in big batch cooking to join a high volume kitchen specializing in school lunches cooked from scratch. Familiarity with batch cooking equipment a plus including 60-gallon steam kettle and 30-gallon tilt skillet, roll in combi ovens and blast chillers, large mixers and buffalo choppers. Finesse and attention to detail on every level is absolutely required. Must have great knife skills, speed, accuracy and knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements;  safe serve managers certification a plus. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, mainly daytime hours, though additional hours and time periods may be required. Bi-lingual a plus. Must be able to pass a background check.
