Food Service Server Manager

Management Team | Chicago, IL | Full Time | From $17.05 to $18.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Basic food prep

• Portioning a variety of food items

• Preparing meals for service at schools

• Ensure food quality standards are followed from delivery to re-therm to presentation of the final product, in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service

• Committed to being punctual, adhering to the time and attendance policy

• Set up and break down of breakfast and lunch line layout

• Keep students informed of the scheduled menu and new items

• Receive student customer feedback, (food quality, likes and dislikes) and communicate information to management

• Able to identify and effectively communicate any concerns while being solution oriented with issues that may affect food safety, quality and or the student customer experience.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lead and guide a team

• Knowledgeable in cooking

• Superior attention to detail required

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements

• Positive attitude, reliable, and flexible

• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

• Strong communication skills

• Taking proper temperatures of meals and record keeping

• Ability to read, write, count and comprehend standard documentation.

• Manager SERV Safe certification is a plus, but not required upfront; the selected candidate must obtain it before their 90 day probation is complete. However, basic Food Handlers required by first day of work.

Job Details:

• Part-time and Full-time positions available, Monday through Friday. No Weekends!
