About the Role:

The Senior Customer Associate is a high-impact, floor-based role responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting team execution during high-volume operations. This individual acts as a leader on the floor, helping guide guest flow (concierge), support team members, and maintain strong operational standards.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads by example, and takes ownership of the customer experience from entry to exit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Flow Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for a welcoming and professional experience when supporting in concierge service assignments
  • Guide guests through the store journey, including check-in, education, and purchase flow
  • Manage lines and guest traffic during high-volume periods to ensure efficiency and a positive experience
  • Address guest questions and concerns with confidence and professionalism

Floor Leadership & Execution

  • Act as a go-to resource for budtenders and team members during daily operations
  • Lead by example during peak periods, stepping in to support cashiers and service areas, where needed
  • Ensure smooth transitions across service areas from entry to checkout
  • Support inventory flow, order movement, and general operational execution

Team Support & Development

  • Reinforce service, compliance, and operational standards on the floor
  • Support real-time problem-solving and decision-making during shifts
  • Help onboard and mentor newer team members through coaching and example
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-energy team environment

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain strong awareness of store activity, guest needs, and team performance
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and state cannabis regulations
  • Support consistent execution of store processes and procedures
  • Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications & Education:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-volume environments preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain organized and composed under pressure
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and situational awareness
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior cannabis retail experience
  • Experience supporting or informally leading a team
  • Proven ability to influence team performance through example

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry product as needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

Work Environment

  • Retail dispensary environment with moderate to high noise levels
  • Fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
  • Requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Shifts/Working Hours may extend up to 3:00 AM for this location.
