Our Consultancy team is looking for Senior User Experience Design Strategist who creates intuitive and engaging experiences that customers actually enjoy using and come back to. This person is an expert in knowing how a product should look, feel and work, and understand what users need and want in the digital space and in real life.

As a team member of the Consulting Studio of Globant, you can expect a collaborative and agile cross-functional team approach with a focus on creative user-centered solutions and enablement. Your client-facing facilitation skills, collaborative nature, curiosity around new tech solutions, passion for human-centered design, and critical thinking skills will be crucial to your success as a User Experience Designer at Globant.  


  • Play an integral part in building UX roadmap, interpreting data, recommending design direction based on research, creating of interactive prototypes and building wireframes

  • Leaning heavily on development side and understanding user experience with testing methodologies

  • Ensuring the best user's experience, understanding research, interaction design, information architecture and usability

  • Be a highly consultative with stakeholders; working directly with clients as a partner to understand their objectives, opportunities, challenges and requirements, managing their expectations and helping navigate them through the process

  • Support and manages large, complex and high risk assignments -- often multidisciplinary in nature -- creating vision and ensuring high quality design delivery.

  • Be a hands-on practitioner that can contribute to high level strategy and vision but focuses on execution and delivery user experiences, prototypes, digital journeys and final designs that marry the business objectives and user needs

  • Support workshops and participatory design activities that surface opportunities, unite teams, and translate vision into action

  • Use lean design techniques to turn customer insights from research in tangible designs to be sent and understood by all stakeholders, in particular, development team

  • Are familiar with and contribute to user research plans using an assortment of qualitative Design Thinking methods

  • Distill research findings into UX artifacts such as personas and journeys

  • Apply prototyping techniques according to project stage, with the purpose of progressing quickly and obtaining fast feedback regarding interaction design

  • Recognize design and interaction patterns according to device and context

  • Act as a UX/UCD evangelist, seeking opportunities and creating initiatives to inspire and build long-standing, consultative, senior relationships

  • Provide escalation point for crisis intervention / jeopardy management

  • Contribute to proposal development and create statement of works which include pricing and planning for complex projects

  • Continuously looking to improve existing practices by refining techniques or introducing new ones

About You:

  • Clearly communicate design decisions and build consensus through persuasive artifacts and conversation

  • Client-facing confidence in UX Design; humility to learn from others

  • Genuinely passionate about User behavior, Service design and being consultative

  • Understanding of user research methodologies and when to apply them

  • Can demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end design process and evidence of using appropriate methods to inform solutions

  • Able to create storyboards, experience map, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and visual designs

  • Create UX strategy and design guidelines

  • Strong understanding and experience of working with related skills e.g creative content, front-end development

  • Inclined to focus on possibilities rather than limitations and are focused on outcomes

  • Facilitation skills, including the ability lead activities, read a room, build consensus, keep people on task, and quickly process information

  • Proactive, self-starter, from your self-development to learning about your clients, their issues and how to resolve them

  • Collaborative by nature you should work well in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline driven environment and working on multiple projects

  • Able to inspire the team while respecting the team lead and group direction

  • Strong listening, storytelling (communication) and presentation skills


  • 4+ years of professional digital design experience, preferably within an agency and design consultancy environment

  • Experience managing key account relationships, with responsibility for delivering client growth and revenue targets

  • Consultative and leadership background is highly preferred

  • Highly proficient with use of design and prototyping applications (Adobe creative suite, Sketch, Axure, Invision)

  • Basic knowledge of Google Slides, Keynote, Word, and Excel

  • Video editing skills is a plus

  • Outstanding portfolio - updated portfolio link must be included when submitting for this position (please, include password if portfolio is private)

  • A BA/BS or MA/MS in Graphic Design, Fine arts, UX design, Information Architecture, Industrial design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent professional experience

  • Ability to frequently travel to visit teammates, out-of-state clients and end-users

  • Native-level English fluency

On any given day you might:

  • Create interactive experiences that are useful to users and promote our clients businesses

  • Identify key ideas to drive projects and how to implement them in multiple channels

  • Provide deliverables including prototypes, proof of concept documents, wireframes, user flows, use cases, and user scenarios

  • Present various aspects of the user experience to development team and clients

  • Track and monitor progress on development and quality of the experience

  • Conduct interviews, competitive research, design explorations, and strategic analysis
