Sr HR Generalist (part time)

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking an experienced generalist to perform the role of People Champion on a part time (6 hours), permanent basis based in London - Clerkenwell area. The purpose of the role is ensure the effective management and operation of the People function and to support the Directors and Senior Management Team in London. Alongside this, the People Champion will work together with the key people of the offices of Madrid, Belarus and India.

YOU WILL GET THE CHANCE TO:

  • Work alongside Directors and Heads of Department to ensure that HR provides a proactive rather than reactive support service to the business
  • Oversee effective employee benefits administration processes. This includes Company pension scheme administration and auto enrollment compliance.
  • Work  with other People (HR) areas such as People Career, People Care, Rewards and Compensations on several company processes and policies. 
  • Detect and retain key players
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Directors, and Partners to improve relationships and team management. 
  • Be focal point for current employees to talk to address questions, concerns or issues regarding the company and/or their teams. 
  • Co-ordinate all employee relations matters, supporting the Line Managers throughout and ensuring that all the necessary information and documentation is tracked and communicated to the employee at the appropriate time.
  • Work closely with the teams in order to guarantee an excellent work environment 
  • Coordinate and conduct First day Orientation and on-boarding sessions. Teach about internal tools and organise different training sessions and webinars. 
  • Coordinate Events, After Offices, Sport Tournaments and all sort of bonding activities. 
  • Promote Globant’s value and Pillars. 
  • Provides guidance when employees are interested in changing their career path. 
  • Account for the Working Environment Survey analysis and later actions in order to improve the sites. 
  • Turnover & Attrition 
  • Produce, analyse and derive insights from Company data and People metrics (e.g. employee data, turnover rate & attrition and employee surveys)

 

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED:

  • Solid generalist HR experience - including some experience working in other European countries (desirable)
  • Good understanding of employment law, regulatory, and legal compliance practices.
  • Good understanding of all areas of HR.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure
  • Analytical, good attention to detail and able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to time manage and prioritise
  • Coach and mentor less experienced staff (as required)
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Flexible and pro-active approach
  • Spanish and/or French is a plus
