Senior Content Strategist

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A Senior Content Strategist would be working on a strategic level, meeting and helping clients define their content strategy according to their goals by providing technical, conceptual and editorial guidelines to a team of writers and content generators in order to create high-traffic digital content, lead-converting resources, and shareable creative projects. The Senior Content Strategist would be accountable for training and mentoring other Globant’s team members regarding this discipline.

The strategist must be able to broadly answer the following questions on behalf of the organization:

  • What is the bigger story?

  • What is the main objective?

  • Who is the audience?

  • How to produce any kind of content program and make it sustainable?

  • How to perform the measurement?

  • How, when and where the content should be distributed?

Responsibilities:

  • Audit clients’ current content/marketing strategy.

  • Identify and define business goals, KPI’s and clients’ success criteria.

  • Provide strategic and technical guidance for content creation, curation, publishing and distribution, according to clients’ goals and their content assets.

  • Ensure all content marketing stakeholders needs are met.

  • Manage agencies and freelancers.

  • Keep the team up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing.

  • Serve as an evangelist for our message, brand, and content through leadership, blogging, social media, and speaking.

  • Provide a comprehensive digital marketing understanding in order to integrate other areas of expertise such as SEO, Social Networks and Analytics.
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in business administration, marketing/advertising, communication sciences or related.

  • 3+ years of experience leading digital content teams (on media outlets or digital agencies desired).

  • Postgraduate degree in marketing, business administration or journalism (desired).

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystem.

  • Strong understanding of audience measurement platforms.

  • Proven experience designing content and digital marketing strategies.

  • Proven experience creating and managing content for institutional brands.

  • Proven experience measuring customer experience and satisfaction levels on any digital platform.

  • Working knowledge on HTML is desired.

  • Proven experience scripting and editing different content formats, as well as performing proofreading.

  • Ability to communicate with different roles at any organizational level, in a seamlessly way, both written and verbally.
