We are seeking a Jira Administrator to join our team in Dallas!


  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions consistent with industry best practices
  • Serve as a JIRA administrator and maintain responsibility for administration, maintenance, upgrades, enhancements to JIRA, and integrations with other tools or plugins.
  • Create  templates, team boards, dashboards, custom fields, workflows, schemes, etc.
  • Administer JIRAs core and software, and formulate technical solutions using JIRA and associated JIRA plugins.
  • Serve as the JIRA main focal point to ensure the adoption of development and workflow processes
  • Provide in-depth training to business users on JIRA and Confluence features and functions
  • Perform application and system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs.
  • Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility.
  • Research and utilize industry standard methods and techniques.


  • A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on JIRA as a Project/Application Administrator. Experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes is a must.
  • Experience with JIRA and JIRA Portfolio administration (workflow management, user management, data management and clean up, plan management)
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Perform application and system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast changing dynamic agile environment; strong work ethic with good time management.
