About our Outside Sales Representative position:

GiveGab is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team.  An ideal candidate for this role has a passion for helping nonprofits, is motivated and and has experience in learning about and selling technology.  The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and then take over a territory. GiveGab is a technology platform designed exclusively for Nonprofit organizations, Community Foundations, and Higher Education, specializing in online fundraising, supporter engagement, donor management, and Giving Days.  Our employees are driven by helping organizations who are looking to increase their fundraising capacity and better engage with their supporters.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Work with prospects and customers in a consultative manner to determine the best options for their organization using the GiveGab platform or GiveGab Giving Day.

  • Respond effectively to prospect and client needs and questions, both technical and non-technical.

  • Deliver professional product demonstrations in person and through video meetings to potential customers and groups of customers.

  • Learn and maintain product knowledge through collaboration with sales, customer success, and engineering teams.

  • Log progress on leads and opportunities for easy reporting and visibility.

  • Meet quarterly sales quota set by leadership.

  • Assist other team members with transactions when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years experience in outside sales selling SaaS

  • Experience in Nonprofit, Community Foundation or Higher Education donor engagement role preferred

  • Experience with Salesforce.com and HubSpot a plus

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and technical skills

  • Excellent verbal, communication, writing, and documentation skills

  • Positive, supportive, and welcoming attitude for all members of the team

  • Ability to translate technical jargon for the average consumer

  • Experience selling products and services packages of $25,000 or more preferred

  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and prospects and team members
