Inside Sales Representative (Entry Level)

Job Description

GiveGab is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team and support nonprofits who are looking to increase their fundraising capacity and better engage with their supporters. An ideal candidate for the position doesn’t necessarily have experience in a previous sales role selling SaaS, but does have interests they are passionate about and that they can successfully convey the benefits and value of to others. This role requires excellent organizational and time management skills as well as interpersonal communication skills.

GiveGab is a technology platform designed exclusively for nonprofit organizations and places of higher education, specializing in online fundraising, supporter engagement, donor management, and Giving Days.

Areas of Responsibility:  

  • Work with customers and potential customers in a consultative manner to determine the best options for their organization on the GiveGab platform, including monthly subscriptions and consulting packages.

  • Respond effectively to client needs and questions, both technical and non-technical.

  • Deliver professional sales product demonstrations in person and through video meetings to potential customers and groups of customers.

  • Curate customer feedback about the product and our value proposition and provide that feedback on a regular basis to GiveGab's teams to help continually improve the platform and our offerings.

  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to continually update sales tools and materials.

    • May include such items as email marketing materials, website and in-app messaging, company swag, and conference materials.


  • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years in and inside sales environment with proven success.

  • Flexibility in a working environment, being able to redirect or change courses in the middle of a task to address the most pressing need.

  • Comfort in a small, fast-paced, and high-growth start-up environment with a "grace-under-fire" personality when the pressure to deliver is high.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and technical skills.

  • Ability to internalize team needs and self-direct.

  • Excellent verbal, communication, writing, and documentation skills.

  • Positive, supportive, and welcoming attitude for all members of the team.

  • Ability to travel (mostly locally) to meet with our awesome customers.

  • Openness to learning new things and coachability.


Bonus Points:

  • Understanding or experience in the nonprofit space.

  • A general understanding of software design and development principles.

  • Some inbound and inside sales experience.

  • Experience selling SaaS.

  • Some HTML and CSS knowledge.
