About The Role

Join a small but fast growing team of sales professionals that connects with community and nonprofit leaders across the country to engage with and educate them about the joy of fundraising with GiveGab! You'll have your own territory to manage and prospect into, finding the best way to engage and connect. You'll also have a small team to bounce ideas around, share best practices, and celebrate with.  

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Cold calling & lead generation

  • Identify key opportunities, build relationships & close deals

  • Educate and guide prospects in a consultative manner to help them envision how GiveGab can grow their digital fundraising through our suite of products and services

  • Conduct customer research and develop tailored, consultative product demonstrations, adapting as needed for in person and video meetings to potential customers and groups of customers. 

  • Manage and move you inbound and self-sourced leads through the full sales process (prospect to close). Must be effective in identifying, prospecting, qualifying and tracking opportunities

  • Close business at or above quota level set quarterly by leadership

  • Build strong customer relationships by maintaining high levels of engagement and communication and have a genuine interest in your prospect’s success on the platform

  • Uphold our value of Customer Love in every interaction with your prospects through quick resolution of questions or concerns, effective communication, and using a friendly and personable tone. 

  • Pursue industry and competitor knowledge to ensure that our value proposition is effectively communicated to customers

  • Learn and maintain product knowledge through collaboration with sales, relationship management, customer success, and engineering teams.

  • Contribute towards the development of a strong team environment by upholding high work standards, insisting on internal excellence, and assisting team members as needed

  • Maintain accurate notes and records in Salesforce; actively update sales activities and all relevant data including phone calls, meetings, emails, and other client engagements.


  • 2+ years experience in outside sales selling SaaS products and/or services

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development within an organization.

  • Considered a top producer in their current role through consistently hitting or exceeding sales quotas

  • Coachable and open to feedback

  • Have exceptional consultative selling and closing skills

  • Have a sharp focus on goals and a belief that daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them

  • Have a positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for their successes and failures

  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients, prospects, team members, and trade shows

  • Ability to translate technical jargon for the average consumer

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and technical skills

  • Excellent verbal, communication, writing, and documentation skills

  • Positive, supportive, and welcoming attitude towards all members of the team

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in a donor engagement role within the nonprofit, community foundation or higher education industry

  • Experience managing sales within Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ

  • Experience selling products and services packages of $25,000 or more

  • Experience selling into the Community Foundation or Nonprofit space

 Base Salary + Commission.  Position will start January 2021
