As GiveGab’s Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for expanding GiveGab's customer base. You will use prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers. Your goal is to help book meetings and fill the pipelines for the sales team.
Areas of Responsibilities
Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Directors of Engagement (Account Executives) using GiveGab's qualification criteria across multiple products and verticals
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest through cold discovery calls, email campaigns, social selling (LinkedIn, etc.), and networking.
Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
Conduct high volume prospecting to generate qualified leads (between 40 and 60 calls per day) and ensure a smooth handoff to the Director of Engagement
Work closely and collaboratively with our Directors of Engagement to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans
Work internally with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of demonstrations
Be a subject matter expert and champion for GiveGab’s expansive list of fundraising solutions
Conduct discovery calls for a subset of inbound and outbound leads before handing off to the Director of Engagement
1-2 years of experience prospecting or in a quota carrying position
Track record of high achievement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with sales outreach, including cold calling, emailing, or social selling
Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
The technical aptitude to master our sales tools, including Intercom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, YesWare, HubSpot, Salesforce, and others.

Highly self-driven sense of motivation
The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
Experience in a fundraising role within the nonprofit, community foundation or higher education industry
This position is an exempt (salaried) position plus commission.
