Entry Level Behavior Techs & RBTs - Work 1:1 with Children

Gateway Learning Group provides specialized instruction to children with Autism and other special needs and is currently seeking enthusiastic new team members to join our growing San Francisco team.

At Gateway we cultivate learning, language, behavior and social skills. Using the principles of ABA, we design and implement an individualized therapy program for each child based on his or her particular needs and interests.



  • Provide 1:1 instruction to children with unique learning needs; teaching tactics from the field of ABA.

  • Teach Individuals with special needs new skills, such as communication, imitation, motor, pre-academic, and self-regulation, through fun and motivating lessons.



  • Energetic, creative, and reliable individual.

  • A minimum of 10 hours per week availability within the 2-7 pm time frame. 

  • Reliable transportation (you will be traveling to clients' locations).

  • Expectation to complete requirements for company paid RBT certification (Registered Behavior Technician) within 1 year of hire date. 

  • High School diploma required; 2+ years college experience preferred.

  • Minimum commitment of 6 months of employment.

  • Ideal candidate has taken coursework in education, psychology, or related field and has experience working with special needs children.



  • Comprehensive TRAINING in ABA, ongoing supervision by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and BCBA coursework reimbursement.
