The OnBoarding Specialist is responsible for performing the program administration process for field advisors to support the needs of our expanding field network. 

Advisor Program Administration:

  • Coordinates all aspects of the 1099 advisor and Field Management onboarding process including initial set-up, coordination through the various stages including background checks and coordination with commissions department on contract terms, contract changes and contract terminations.This includes tracking recruits through the designated programs, such as JobScore and FastStart.

  • Trains and advises Office Managers, Managing Directors, Associate Managing Directors and other field and home office support team members with the processes and procedures.

  • Maintains recruiting portal(s) as well as other records, reports and logs pertaining to advisor applicant flow procedures.

  • Compiles reports as needed.

  • Communication with branch management and home office will be a frequent task to make sure all items are completed and tracked.

  • Dedication to obtaining the quickest possible approval for advisors through the process.

  • Interface with the appropriate internal and external parties for registered rep appointments with the designated broker dealer.

Contracting & Appointment Processing Functions:

  • Assist with the contracting and appointment processing functions including submitting all required agent completed contracting paperwork to the carriers of our platform along with process follow up’s and confirmations.

  • Confirmation of in good order state licensing, carrier appointment, state training course completion, carrier course completion, suitability training course completion are all under the Contracting & Appointment Processor team duties.

  • Follow up regularly with carriers to check on the status of pending applications and confirm that all required materials have been received and are being reviewed.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 1 - 2+ years of general insurance and/or contracting & appointment processing in an agency and/or carrier setting with life and annuity carriers/products.

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.

  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Strong verbal and written proficiencies of the English language is required and bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
