About the Role
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for providing technical project planning, management, and oversight for FUNL enterprise and startup projects. Ensuring that these projects are completed on-time, within scope, and budget. The TPM will ensure the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance, and system supportability throughout the project’s value chain or life cycle (EG, design, development, testing and evaluation, production, launch, growth, analysis then rinse and repeat) for each project. The TPM acts as a project management technical lead and business analysis subject matter expert and is responsible for working with project stakeholders to deliver technical solutions in a timely and high-quality manner.
The TPM at FUNL will manage all phases of technical service delivery including analysis and design, configuration and build, testing and training, and deployment of solutions and will be accountable for all aspects of project management, project planning, scheduling, scope management, internal communications, status reporting, and resource management (internal and partners).

You will work directly with FUNL leadership and clients to deliver data solutions that tell a story and provide new and innovative insights enabling us to make better decisions and improve our services. You will serve as a thought leader with the Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business Development teams.
This role will report to a FUNL Co-Founder and Partner.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
Research and evaluate software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis on behalf of the company and clients
Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for all members
Analyze the economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards.
Develop comprehensive project plans and scope that merge client requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation
Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques such as monday.com, airtable, etc
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Responsible for leading project meetings on assigned projects and publishing the meeting minutes to the project team and stakeholders
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
As needed, based on skillset and learning - provide ad operations support to digital marketing campaigns; research, configure and manage technology tools and platforms; conduct analysis of campaigns and projects to provide insights
Potentially provide mentorship to other members of the team on best practices for the design and implementation of cutting-edge analytics
Bachelor’s degree, equivalent or related technical field required
Proven working experience in project management for 5-7 years
2 or more years of experience in Data Analytics preferred
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and method
Strong analytical skills regarding project management issues
Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills including the ability to present technical issues to a non-technical audience and communicate effectively
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, G-Suite, Slack, time-tracking tools, project management SaaS products, and other relevant tools.
Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
Demonstrated ability to effectively complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver quality results under pressure constraints
Energetic and motivated, with an inquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation
