About the Role

The FUNL Project Manager (PM) is a key role in driving the success of our projects and teams. You will manage client projects, providing both day-to-day strategic contributions and tactical execution, and developing team cohesion. You have ultimate accountability for the successful delivery of assigned projects, such as being on schedule, on budget, within the approved scope, and with a high degree of quality. Ensure that operations run smoothly and handle the unexpected with grace and sound decision-making. You will be the main point of contact with the client and is responsible for customer satisfaction on assigned projects. In this role, you are responsible for providing project planning, management, and oversight for FUNL enterprise and startup projects. Ensuring that these projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will ensure the optimum mix of cost, schedule, performance, and system supportability throughout the project’s value chain or life cycle (EG, design, development, testing and evaluation, production, launch, growth, analysis then rinse and repeat) for each project. You will be accountable for all aspects of project management, project planning, scheduling, scope management, internal communications, status reporting, and resource management (internal and partners). Key functions will include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. You will be the main point of contact with the client and is responsible for customer satisfaction on assigned projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize the progress of projects against milestones and deliverables. Provide both formal reports and ongoing updates for clients regarding the status of the project. The successful candidate will work directly with FUNL leadership and clients to ensure that deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. You will be in contact with team members daily to ensure all aspects of each project are on track to overdeliver.

You will serve as a thought leader with the Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business Development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects

  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Hold regular team and client meetings to determine progress, address any questions or challenges regarding projects and publishing the meeting minutes to the team 

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for all members

  • Analyze the economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards.

  • Coordinate with various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation

  • Manage projects throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques such as monday.com, airtable, etc.

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

  • As needed, based on skillset and learning - provide ad operations support to digital marketing campaigns; research, configure and manage technology tools and platforms; conduct analysis of campaigns and projects to provide insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proven working experience in project management for 3-5 years

  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and method

  • Strong analytical skills regarding project management issues

  • Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills including the ability to present technical issues to a non-technical audience and communicate effectively

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, G-Suite, Slack, time-tracking tools, project management SaaS products, and other relevant tools. 

  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver quality results under pressure constraints

  • Energetic and motivated, with an inquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation

  • Ability to converse strategically with executives and collaborate tactically with team members
