About The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and execution-focused Operational POD Integration Manager to lead site-level operational transformation and training during the implementation of the new Softeon Warehouse Management System (WMS).
This role will be embedded at assigned sites, working directly with site leadership and hourly teams to integrate systemic workflows, deliver hands-on training, and ensure complete alignment and adherence to new operational standards. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, effective trainer, and disciplined executor who understands both WMS functionality and front-line operational processes.
Responsibilities:
WMS Integration Execution
· Serve as a site-level operational leader during WMS cutover from legacy platform to Softeon WMS.
· Map and translate field-level processes into the new WMS workflows (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory, etc.).
· Partner with functional leads to ensure real-time process adoption and system usability.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
· Deliver hands-on, classroom, and floor-based training for all site management and hourly associates.
· Customize training materials based on site layout and workflow needs.
· Validate training effectiveness through shadowing, spot checks, and knowledge assessments.
Task Execution & Compliance
· Collaborate with Project Management to complete all assigned project tasks and timelines.
· Conduct end-to-end audits of all steps in the integration project plan for:
o Execution accuracy
o End-user understanding
o Operational adherence
Documentation & Best Practices
· Update and revise SOPs and work instructions to reflect new WMS processes.
· Recommend and implement best practices to improve process efficiency and consistency.
· Document feedback from site teams to inform future deployments and continuous improvement.
Testing & Go-Live Support
· Actively participate in System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and User Training & Integration (UTI) phases.
· Support go-live cutover and lead the site through transition into Hypercare and Steady State.
· Serve as first-line support for post-go-live troubleshooting and retraining.
Requirements:
· 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain
· Strong knowledge of WMS platforms
· Hands-on experience in training and coaching frontline operations staff
· Proven ability to implement new systems and lead through change at the site level
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
· Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to travel and work flexible shifts as needed for site readiness
Bonus Points:
· Experience in WMS implementations or system cutovers
· Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement background
· Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
