About The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Generalist to join our Source Logistics team. This individual will lead all new hire orientation across Source Logistics and support HR operations, with future opportunities to assist in broader employee relations initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for onboarding, benefits, and HRIS data accuracy and will partner closely with site leadership and the corporate HR team.
Location can be remote, preferably in NJ, Houston, or Laredo, TX.
Responsibilities:
Lead new hire orientation and onboarding logistics across all Source Logistics locations
Administer benefits company-wide, including enrollments, terminations, and employee inquiries
Maintain employee records and support document compliance for temp-to-perm conversions
Assist in employee relations matters, escalating as needed- Roberto owns the Chicago employee relations, this position will support with the other Source locations.
Coordinate with staffing agencies to track conversions, assignments, and start dates
Support compliance initiatives including I-9, E-Verify, and labor posters
Participate in broader HR initiatives such as performance reviews and policy rollout
Provide general support for HR projects, audits, and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
3–5 years of related HR experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing
Proven experience in HR operations, onboarding, and employee file compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, multi-shift warehouse environment
Bonus Points:
- Warehouse/ 3PL/ Logistics experience.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a BIG PLUS.
