Job Description

Friendship Circle is dedicated to integrating children and young adults with special needs more fully into the broader community. The program engages children and young adults with and without special needs in a full range of social activities and clubs. These diverse clubs allow children of all abilities to socialize in a large group setting while discovering new interests and exploring new hobbies! The Friendship Circle aims to enrich the lives of all participants through mutually advantageous interactions, creating lasting friendships, which consequently strengthen both the Jewish and greater community.

In the role as a System Administrator Intern, you would be responsible for the general support and management of Friendship Circle’s CRM (Salesforce) software; including all staff support, reporting, data analysis, data integrity control, 3rd party applications and integrations, and taking on projects related to building out and configuring the system.

This role offers significant growth opportunities for someone looking for career development in learning how to administer salesforce. This internship is for a minimum commitment of six months (one year is preferable) with a potential job offer upon completion of Internship.


  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes

  • Proactively gather feedback from users

  • Manage system changes

  • Communicate system changes to the users

  • Work with Salesforce developer to handle ongoing customization/ alteration of

  • Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the environment

  • Manage licenses

  • Reassign Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities in response to personnel changes

  • Training to existing or new users

  • Expand use of

  • Process Creation, Documentation and Maintenance

  • Document company processes and workflows

  • Develop process documentation and field maps

  • Create new processes and associated reporting

  • Import data as appropriate

  • Monitor and improve data quality

  • Create and maintain reports

  • Supporting teams and leaders by delivering reports and analysis to teams

  • Helping keep teams accountable to processes and systems that have been rolled out


  • Able to dedicate at least six months to this internship.

  • Available to work at Friendship Circle’s office in West Bloomfield

  • Previous Salesforce experience

  • Completion of online Salesforce trainings

  • Knowledge of Nonprofit Success Pack a plus

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Enjoys data analysis and process creation
