Boots Sales & Education Manager - South Region

The Sales & Education Manager will be responsible for driving sales within our Boots portfolio in the assigned territory. In this role you will be at the forefront of the brand, educating and engaging the Boots beauty advisors in store. We’re looking for someone who enjoys inspiring others to drive brand goals, awareness, and retail sales. This role will also be responsible for ensuring all brand guidelines and operational standards are in place in all stores.

The Sales and Education Manager will cover the South of the UK with approximately 30 doors with an immediate start date.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Lead and develop the Boots Team and develop a culture of passionate, high performance people. Inspire and guide through coaching, mentoring and leading by example. Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for performance results. 30%
  • Ensure brand presentation is executed in all stores in territory and provide feedback to leadership. Ensure merchandising standards are met in stocking, cleanliness and product availability to the customer. Support all stores to ensure all stock levels are correct and the brand sales potentialized. 30%
  • Responsible for developing and leveraging positive retailer relationships to maximize store level support related to all areas of driving the business. 15%
  • Partner with the National Account Manager, Retail Director and Education Manager to develop and execute a strategic sales, training and event plan, to accelerate brand awareness and sales plans within assigned territory.10%
  • Ensure flawless execution of events and promotional activities. Solicit and compile feedback pertaining to programs before and after completion. 5%
  • Provide feedback and consistent communication with Leader, peers and cross functional partners to effectively develop overall business and ensure the support structure is in place to grow the business. Also provide industry and market specific trends as appropriate. 5%
  • Manage budget, resources and operations in accordance with business priorities. Effectively control costs. 5%

Key Working Relationships: National Account Manager, Retail and Education Director; Education Manager, Boots Store Managers

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong training experience and proven track record in delivering a high-performance culture in a team through coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
  • Previous cosmetics / beauty industry experience required. Cosmetic artistry experience a plus but not necessary.
  • Proven track record of achieving and building territory sales targets and KPI’s
  • Experience leading successful beauty events
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build positive and effective business partnerships
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Professional and handle change in a positive manner
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel will be within region and likely to be 90% of the working week
  • Occasional travel to Central London Head Office will be required
