Summary of Position: The inventory analyst is responsible for the monitoring, analyzing and optimizing inventory levels across global distribution network to meet revenue targets. Responsible for transferring product and/or directing PO’s from vendor to support sales.    The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented with strong follow through, communicates clearly, and collaborates with teams in a fast-paced environment to achieve shared goals

Principle Accountabilities: 

  • Manage inventory across Global 3PL DC’s optimizing inventory and revenue
    • Manage DRP (distribution replenishment plan) tool
      • Load data weekly
      • Analyze sku level inventory by DC to initiate inventory movement
    • Report on Global DC inventory ownership and W.O.H., including inventory optimization action weekly and monthly
  • 3PL inventory management – US (2 locations), UK, CA, Australia, China Bonded Warehouse, etc
    • Inventory order planning and coordination
      • Review monthly sales forecast, weekly sales trends, inventory on hand and in-transit to create weekly transfers into each 3PL
      • Coordinate and communicate order details to Internal Morphe and 3PL teams
      • Track orders through Internal Morphe DC and from vendor to ensure on time deliveries
      • Create and send ASNs to 3PL’s
      • Work with cross-functional Operations team on 3PL transactions in NetSuite
    • Communicate Item Master updates (i.e. new items, updates) to 3PL systems
    • Communicate Bundle SKU's assembly quantities weekly needed at Norris DC
    • Overall management of 3rd Party rework needed to support International business
      • Review quantities and timing for rework/DC processing/transportation
      • Communicate requirements and deadlines to the DC to execute
    • New Channel launch inventory management (all channels)
      • Work with merchants and planning team on assortment, timing, and sales/demand forecast
      • Communicate inventory status and risk to cross-functional partners
  • New Product Launches
    • Work with Production / Sourcing to ensure ETA’s support launch deadlines
    • Recap new launch in-DC dates and relevant supporting data in the New Launch Calendar
  • Leads IM/Operations processes and meetings
    • Facilitate and represents IM in cross-functional meetings
      • Facilitate the Daily Ops Stand-up
    • Subject Matter Expert for IM/Operations processes and Netsuite transactions
      • Onboard and support new global, cross-functional team members
      • Provides back-up for cross-functional teams


Fiscal Accountabilities:  Inventory Control  

Key Working Relationships: Warehouse Ops, Retail Ops, Finance and Accounting, Production, IT

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 2-3 years in an Inventory Control role or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paces environment.

Travel Requirements: 5 – 10% (Domestic)
