Location: Chicago, Illinois

Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid, Weekends and Holidays Required as Needed

We're looking for an experienced sales consultant with expertise in weddings and a mastery of event production. This proven salesperson would be responsible for quoting, inspiring, and booking beautiful wedding decor for clients with our production team. The position is based in Chicago with onsite work on peak weekends and 1-2 days/week remote flexibility on weekdays.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Quoting, consulting, and selling floral to brides, grooms, & planners.

  • Create, edit and own your client's wedding proposal, recipe curate, and production notes

  • Venue communication and walkthroughs.

  • Timely and efficient communication with clients.

  • Management of client pipeline in company CRM & recipe software.

  • Assistance with in-studio floral design, marketing events, & installations.

  • Maintain and surpass quarterly sales goals.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in wedding/event sales with natural affinity for design

  • Experience in internal or external sales.

  • People-person with excellent communication skills & positive demeanor.

  • Comfortable in a team-based environment.

  • Knowledge of flowers, design techniques, and industry trends is preferred.

  • Ability to work peak season weekends & key floral holidays.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with quick client turnaround.

  • Ability to conduct urgency with orders and bookings.

  • Shared aesthetic preferences & values with Flowers for Dreams brand.
