REPORTS TO: Talent Manager

HOURS: 15 hrs/week

AREAS OF INTEREST: Events, Event Coordination, Development, Emceeing, Travel, Volunteer Management, Training



This position is crucial for ensuring positive experiences and event flow at Hunger Projects nationwide. Hunger Projects are large, high-energy events, where anywhere from hundreds to thousands of volunteers assemble healthy meals for hungry children.  

There are opportunities to learn the ins-and-outs of event management, relationship development, and volunteer empowerment. Duties could include interacting with clients and volunteers in a professional manner, coordinating project setup and breakdown, helping manage project teams, and emceeing at projects if needed. Flex hours and travel opportunities that work with your schedule.


First and foremost, empowering, mobilizing, and connecting with PEOPLE.

  • Traveling to and supporting/leading Hunger Projects

  • Pre event setup & post event break down

  • Helping control event flow and emceeing if leading projects

  • Training volunteers as a table captain during projects

  • Connecting with event host/volunteers ensuring excellent customer service

  • Managing the event Team if leading project

    • Staff, interns, key volunteers, etc.

  • Reporting a recap of wins and losses for each event if event lead
