Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and process-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Stamford location, with potential growth into a district operations manager role across multiple locations. This position requires a strong balance of operational oversight, sales performance management, and client engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a client-focused environment, is a team player, leads by example, and is motivated to drive both business growth and a positive, energetic culture. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Owners and work in close collaboration with the Salon Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Performance

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics (revenue, margins, bookings, memberships, average ticket, utilization, and retention) using BLVD and Google Workspace.
  • Document and support the team in executing sales strategies that drive growth, membership sales, rebooking, and high-margin service add-ons.
  • Partner with Ownership on financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Operations & Compliance

  • Manage retail, back bar, and professional supply inventory with precision; conduct audits and place orders within budget.
  • Oversee merchandising, cleanliness, and compliance with FACE FOUNDRIÉ standards, ensuring systems and processes are consistently followed.
  • Identify, document, implement, and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, readiness, and client experience.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of FACE FOUNDRIÉ systems (portal, BLVD POS, Eloomi) and communicate updates to the team in a clear, structured manner.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings, including preparing the agenda and tracking action items.

Front Bar Reception

  • Greet and check in clients at the front desk periodically as needed.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Support the planning and tracking of local marketing campaigns, community events, and collaborations to strengthen brand awareness.
  • Assist with creating and scheduling social media content under the direction of the marketing lead.

Scheduling

  • Partner with the Salon Manager to optimize scheduling and adjust shifts proactively during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Strong background in salon, spa, or retail operations
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to develop, document, implement, and refine processes
  • Excellent computer skills, including Google Workspace proficiency
  • Team first player that works well together with others
  • Strong client service, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, KPI tracking, and P&L familiarity
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Successful completion of all required FACE FOUNDRIÉ training (virtual and in-person)
  • Completion of I-9 verification, Confidentiality Agreement, and Employee Handbook at hire

Training & Development

  • Comprehensive virtual and hands-on training is provided at onboarding. Ongoing training is mandatory and essential to long-term success in the role.
