We are looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Lead who will create, lead and optimize all marketing campaigns at an exciting and fast-paced DTC brand. This position will be critical to the success of the company and support at a minimum 30% growth year of year. This role will be responsible for diversifying our overall performance marketing mix into new channels for the brand, including programmatic display, native, and digital partnerships. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the strategy and execution of performance marketing campaigns with a focus on emerging test channels. This role is a great fit for someone who knows how to create storytelling to drive conversion via digital channels, is experienced in ad ops, and has a solid understanding of marketing analytics. The role will report to the CEO of Evy’s Tree and will be a critical part of the organization’s growth strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a product/retail organization as well as a creative environment and will be comfortable both leading and collaborating with creative and technical teams with a proven track record in revenue growth.. This role will bring together the art of brand communication and storytelling with the science of performance to create engaging and powerful marketing campaigns. The candidate will also be comfortable working in a startup environment with the ability to wear multiple hats to implement and execute strategic initiatives. 

What You Will Do

  • Translate business and product goals into marketing goals to develop and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy for a growing, e-commerce start-up. This includes the 30% YOY growth plants. 

  • Create, monitor and adjust Marketing Plans and Campaigns to support the monthly/quarterly/annual revenue growth goals. 

  • Create and Plan Customer Acquisition Strategy to ensure a healthy new customers to return customer ratios. This includes building audiences and campaign targeting (lookalike, interest-based) and maintain exclusion lists

  • Execute and optimize programmatic display and native campaigns across multiple platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Email, SMS and Search). Direct Contact for a paid digital agency. 

  • Manage day-to-day operations of digital campaigns, including campaign setup, audience creation, creative asset trafficking, and reporting on campaign KPIs

  • Leads the marketing team and evokes the storyteller component, for key departments within Evy’s Tree and develops strong working relationships with external partners. This includes Graphic Design Artist, Photographer and Videography, Digital Visual Merchandiser, Brand Collaborations, Content Creators, Club Evy’s Tree Membership Program, loyalty programs and channels and PR agency.  

  • Communicates internal teams and external partners marketing plans and changes. 

  • Report and analyze cross-platform performance and identify optimization opportunities to achieve ecommerce goals

  • Manage platform pixels, UTM tracking, and shopping catalogs/feeds in partnership with our data along with detailed traffic and website conversion. 

  • Researching emerging markets to stay ahead of technical shifts in the marketplace. This includes algorithm changes and operating system changes. 

  • Manage Marketing Budget to ensure daily campaign spend  are optimized and to  recommend budget shifts to maximize performance and meet our monthly revenue goals

  • Own strategy and coordinate on all product naming, messaging, positioning and marketing creative.

What You Bring

  • Must have proven track record of YOY growth of at least 30%
  • Proof of growth ability through new customer acquisition strategy + healthy return customer growth
  • 2-3 years of hands-on-keyboard experience managing digital campaigns, ideally for direct response campaigns across multiple platforms (display and programmatic a must) for an eCommerce Company with a proven track record. 
  • Solid knowledge of ad ops, including pixels/tagging via Google Tag Manager, Social Media Campaign Builders and Analytics,

  • Experience in Shopify eCommerce, Google Business Suit and Slack. 

  • Expert in Excel and/or Google Sheets. Ability to take lots of data from multiple sources and consolidate into an easy to understand format. 

  • Experience with working with Photoshoots and Video teams to capture the vision is a plus. 

  • Strong Social Media skills: Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest

  • Understanding of performance/growth marketing fundamentals

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

  • Ability to take complete ownership of ad campaigns and provide recommendations for optimizations

  • Highly curious, motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fluid environment. Ability to Pivot and adjust plans quickly. 

Work Environment: Hybrid flexibility (combination of remote and onsite)

Compensation: Base pay of $95,000- $150,000 based on experience and lucrative bonus structure based on revenue growth. Full benefits, paid time off + holidays, 401k match. Generous employee discounts.
