The Research Associate I/II candidate will work as part of the research and development team in the Early Discovery group. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the discovery and development of novel drug candidates in the field of cancer immunotherapy. The candidate will be joining an experienced team that is responsible for the screening and identification of lead antibodies, while utilizing a broad repertoire of cell biology techniques. The candidate’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to mammalian cell culture, transient transfection, stable cell line generation, virus transduction and production, phage panning and screening, ADCC assay, ELISA and FACS analysis. He/she will prepare technical reports and presentations to summarize experiments, data, and conclusions. He/she will also perform other duties as assigned.
- B.S or M.S (preferred) in Biological Sciences or related scientific discipline. Highly qualified applicants without a B.S/M.S will also be considered for a Laboratory Technician position. Preference will be given to applicants with previous hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques.
- Minimum 1-3 years hands-on experience with cell biology techniques
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Multitasking and fast learning
- Working knowledge of cell biology equipment and software platforms, specifically Flow Cytometry.
