Inside Sales Representative


Education Services Group continues to expand by partnering with software companies around Education Revenue Management.  One of the core services is staffing Inside Sales positions for the Education/Training Departments within major software companies.  Inside Sales Representatives work exclusively with one software company and have responsibility for revenue growth.  Sales Representatives start with various contact lists of companies and contacts who are currently using the Company’s software applications and receive product training and ongoing support. 



Education Inside Sales Representatives will use a consultative selling approach through phone calls and emails to build awareness for training classes, certification programs, private events, and OnDemand training products or services developed and delivered by the technology customer they service.  Working closely with the Software Company’s education and field sales personnel, ESRs will increase education revenue and improve customer satisfaction through an enhanced knowledge of the product gained through training and providing outstanding support for existing customers that could benefit from world class training. 

Inside Sales Reps will perform the following tasks on a daily or weekly basis

  • Phone and email communication with IT professionals regarding:
    • Class schedules and availability
    • Certification programs
    • Course content and learning objectives
    • Identifying desired outcomes of training and best solution
    • Registration and cancellation policies
    • Payment options
    • Other related topics
  • Provide support in the actual registration and payment processes
  • Help students to self-select the appropriate courses
  • Secure additional same company contacts through referrals
  • Assist companies with their learning needs

Desired Skills and Experience

Personal Requirements:

  • Proven success in outbound sales
  • 1+ years of previous Lead Generation or Inside Sales Experience
  • Previous experience or knowledgeable about Software or Technology
  • Experience with or other CRM tool
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and Team Oriented
  • Personable and well-presented over the phone and via email
  • Reliable, organized and consistent
  • Takes pride in his/her work (sense of ownership)
  • Continuous learner willing to update product knowledge on an ongoing basis
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Takes direction well
