Job Summary:

The Training and Development Coordinator will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees and contractors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Trainer Development Coordinator will be responsible for evaluating current needs and practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. The ideal candidate will be a confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the latest tools and resources needed to improve employeetraining and performance. The trainer will also be responsible for researching and selecting the best platform to deliver and utilize training materials.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:

● Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication

with supervisors and department leadership.

● Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for

employees and internal stakeholders.

● Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.

● Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.

● Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group

discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.

● Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments,

and retraining requirements.

● Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.

● Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

Training Development Coordinator

● Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.

● Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.

● Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data

● May be assigned other duties.

● Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications / Requirements:

● Excellent Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with

internal and external stakeholders

● Strong presentation skills.

● Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

● Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

● Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

● Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, GSuites, and related program software.

● Knowledge of Medical Chart Components, Medical Records, and EMR Systems

● Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and

providing exemplary customer service.

● At least two years of training experience required.

● At least two years of experience in Chart Retrieval, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry

● Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience, professional

certification preferred.

● Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) preferred

● Knowledge of customer specifications.

● Knowledge of industry standards and practices.

● Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions

given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

● High level of ethics, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:

● Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and

other federal, state and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.

● Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

● Must be able to talk, listen, speak and view regularly

● 10% of domestic travel to customer sites/plants, etc.

Working Conditions:

● Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Training Development Coordinator

● Requires prolonged sitting, some standing, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand

coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone,

and other office equipment.

● Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

● Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when in a clinical setting

● 10% domestic travel. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area and

overnight travel is to be expected.
