Design, test, and implement software at a flourishing company as Episource’s Staff Engineer. As our Staff Engineer, you will be an individual contributor and report to our Engineering Director. This is a remote, full-time, work-from-home position.

How you will make an impact at Episource:

• Leverage your love for code. Bring your fresh ideas to Episource and produce testable code that is clear/simple, modular, loosely coupled, low complexity, and cleanly documented. As an Episource Senior Engineer, you will be a pivotal contributor to developing one of Episource’s premium products, Episource EpiCoder, developing and continuously improving the application, continually seeking operational improvements, and enhancing software solutions.
• Serve as a software SME. Create and implement advanced software solutions for one of Episource’s premiere products, Episource EpiCoder. Your firm grasp of web application development, core complex components, and frameworks will launch you to success throughout your tenure at Episource.
• Partner with a passion. Collaborate with other senior engineers to develop best-in-class software solutions, ensuring the highest quality interface and features are launched throughout our products.
• Collaborate and coach. Provide mentorship and thought leadership throughout the team, guaranteeing accurate and effective code. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale to maintain high standards of code quality and best practices.

What your journey at Episource will look like:

• In your first three months at Episource, you will contribute meaningful features to existing systems and establish a rapport with your team and stakeholders.
• Throughout your next six months at Episource, you will begin to take ownership of the team's development initiatives and be a trusted leader and mentor for your team.
• By the end of your first year at Episource, you will be a go-to member of the team and will be helping to drive feature development with senior engineers and stakeholders

What you will bring to the Expert Teams at Episource:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Strong hands-on coding skills and embrace Domain-Driven Design
• Experience with modern web technologies and tools such as Webpack, npm, and Babel.
• Experience working in a lean-agile way
• Well-versed in frontend development with a strong focus on Vue.js
• Practical skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong communication skills
