As our Principal Cloud Engineer, you will report to Episource’s Senior Director of Cloud Engineering.

What you will do at Episource: 

  • Serve as a cloud engineering SME. Leverage your expertise and ensure best-in-class processes, securing high quality, zero downtime cloud engineering-managed platform technologies and microservices.
  • Observe with an eye for improvement. Seek out opportunities for improvement based on internal feedback. Incorporate enhancements into the overall technical infrastructure strategy.  
  • Orchestrate multiple cloud strategies. Lead cloud operation automation as well as end-to-end technical strategy launch from start to finish.
  • Collaborate and coach. Serve as the technical lead for Episource’s dynamic cloud engineering and engineering teams.

  2. In the first six months, you will implement and maintain the cloud strategy while continuously growing your talent and skill.

What you will bring to Episource: 

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and cloud/infrastructure technologies
  • 4+ years’ experience as a solutions architect with an emphasis on cloud solutions (AWS)
  • 3+ years of experience in application containerization and API architecture, and event management
  • Full-stack development experience (security, infrastructure, identity, application, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing production cloud systems to identify areas for improvement in cost, scale, reliability, and functionality
