Job Summary: 

If you are excited about architecting and designing best in class cloud solutions join our team. We are looking for a seasoned professional who understands cloud engineering, repeatable use case patterns and business priorities and needs. You will oversee and drive the end-to-end software delivery automation efforts with an infrastructure-as-code mindset. Create best-in-class processes for ensuring high quality and zero downtime for Cloud Engineering managed platform technologies and micro services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Help define and drive end-to-end programs for execution of the technical strategy for Cloud engineering strategic pillar.
  • Lead automation efforts across Cloud Operations.
  • Help development teams build containerized and/or cloud naive applications.
  • Lead architecture reviews related to infrastructure, performance and scalability of products.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement based on internal stakeholder feedback and help incorporate them into the overall technical infrastructure strategy.
  • Serve as the technical lead and interface between cloud engineering and software engineering teams.
  • Advise infrastructure security challenges and solutions that account for sensitive data such as Personal Health Information (PHI) and Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Provide architectural design and support towards Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) solutions.
  • Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data
  • May be assigned other duties.
  • Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications / Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and cloud/infrastructure technologies.
  • 4+ years experience as a Solutions architect with an emphasis on cloud solutions (AWS)
  • 3+ years of experience in application containerization and API architecture, and event management.
  • Full stack development experience (i.e.. Security, Infrastructure, Identity, Application, etc.)
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute cross-org and drive for results in ambiguous environments, independence in decision making, ability to problem-solve.
  • Experience analyzing production cloud systems to identify areas for improvement in cost, scale, reliability and functionality.
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Strong Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences and with different levels of an organization
  • Ability to support global teams.
  • Technical Certifications in Cloud Architect preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • High level of ethic, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.
  • Must be able to talk, listen, speak and view regularly

Working Conditions: 

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some standing, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
