Develop and implement enhanced intelligent document processing (IDP) strategies at Episource as our Manager of Product. In this leadership position, you will develop relationships with the retrieval and coding teams and help them improve production output under your guidance. This role demands a leader who inspires and engages with their team and consistently guides them to enhance IDP strategies.

This is a full-time, remote opportunity that will report to Episource’s Vice President of Product for Retrieval, Data & Interoperability Solutions.

How you will impact Episource:

  • Serve as a medical chart retrieval & IDP expert. Use your advanced knowledge of medical health records and IDPs to improve the scalability, throughput and quality of your team's retrieval and coding pipelines and lead them to exceptional outcomes.

  • Cultivate communication and collaboration. Provide coaching and mentorship throughout the team. Provide feedback to team members with the utmost empathy.

  • Partner with a passion. Collaborate with leaders to present bi-monthly business reviews to executive leadership.

What your journey at Episource will look like:

  • In your first three months at Episource, you will learn and absorb all the product management and system information as well as IDP production processes plus get to know the team.

  • Throughout your next six months at Episource, you will be performing most of your job responsibilities, which include writing new business cases for the IDP teams, leading feature and story development, partnering with stakeholders/vendors and preparing and sharing bi-weekly updates on your team’s efforts.

  • By the end of your first year at Episource, you will own and manage all facets of the IDP roadmap, lead ideation for new value-add, make recommendations with data-backed analysis and be responsible for the full-lifecycle of your solutions.

What you will bring to the Expert Teams at Episource:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management in either Healthcare or Technology.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience, professional certification preferred)

  • Understand Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicaid, and ACA intricacies, including market trends. Analyze various datasets including electronic health records, provider, member and other relevant metadata. Ensure data integrity with robust validation, as well as optimize UI/UX tooling.

  • Able to perform a comprehensive stakeholder analysis across the healthcare ecosystem, including health plans, hospitals, providers, vendors and internal operations. Identify their roles, objectives, pain points, and collaboration opportunities.

  • Work with engineering to conduct a strategic assessment of existing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions, and make recommendations for improvement. This may involve cloud technologies, data platforms, OCR, computer vision, NLP & AI/ML. Evaluate their capabilities, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Understanding of AWS and Snowflake preferred.

  • Agile background preferred.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000

Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, and other relevant factors. This is Episource’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position as of the time of posting.
