Develop and implement enhanced coding strategies at Episource as our Manager of Coding Production. In this leadership position, you will develop relationships with the coding team and help them improve production output under your guidance. This role demands a leader who inspires and engages with their team and consistently guides them to enhance medical coding strategies.

This is a full-time, hybrid role and will report to Episource’s Sr. Manager, Coding Production.

  • Serve as a medical coding expert. Use your advanced knowledge of medical coding to improve the quality of your team's coding abilities by leading them to exceptional outcomes.
  • Cultivate communication and collaboration. Provide coaching and mentorship throughout the team. Provide feedback to team members with the utmost empathy.
  • Partner with a passion. Collaborate with leaders to present monthly business reviews to executive leadership.

What your journey at Episource will look like:

  • In your first three months at Episource, you will learn and absorb all the new information and coding production processes and get to know the team.
  • Throughout your next six months at Episource, you will be performing most of your job responsibilities, which include managing the production of all coding teams, solely submitting production reports to the senior management, and preparing and sharing bi-weekly vendor coding production.
  • By the end of your first year at Episource, you will own and manage all production reports, project resource management, attending client/vendor calls, and managing all production-related projects.

What you will bring to the Expert Teams at Episource:

  • Influential and Inspirational Leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience, professional certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in HCC coding production and capacity planning
  • Medicare Risk Adjustment (HCC) auditor background
  • Production forecasting creation and capacity planning know-how
  • In-depth understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS
  • Expert knowledge of Excel spreadsheet and its functions

Salary Range (or rate): $80,000 - $100,000 Annual Salary

Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, and other relevant factors. This is Episource’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position as of the time of posting.
