Although this role can be performed remotely, you will need to live close enough to travel to Headquarters in Gardena, CA, for frequent meetings. (California or bordering states required)

Your B2B marketing experience is pivotal in this role. Showcase your B2B skillset with dynamic persona creation and quick market responsiveness, securing brand loyalty by quickly speaking to client needs. With your B2B influence, you'll have the power to transform Episource by reaching new clients and markets - ultimately driving sales - and placing our flourishing organization at the forefront of the industry.

What you will do at Episource:

  1. Use your gift as a natural storyteller - and soar. Craft a dynamic content strategy that checks off all SEO boxes and is optimized for various digital and print channels, including digital media, social media, videos, websites, infographics, datasheets, case studies, brochures, white papers, and video scripts, and more.
  2. Partner with a passion. Collaborate across the organization with our marketing team, product managers, technical SMEs, and corporate leaders to launch powerful messaging.
  3. Launch Episource as a thought leader in the market. Optimize our social media strategy and utilize your brand management talents to elevate Episource as a sophisticated thought-leader in healthcare.
  4. Cultivate collaboration. As the Director, Marketing and Communications, you will lead our writing and storytelling efforts as a coach and mentor to the marketing team.
  5. Leverage your PR expertise. Develop and implement the Episource media strategy, proactively driving Episource’s story across all PR programs. As the Director, Marketing Communications, you will manage our external PR agency. Together, you will develop, write, and release powerful news releases.
  6. Strengthen our social media strategy. Grow Episource’s social presence, thought leadership, and inbound traffic through dynamic social content, brand awareness, and employee advocacy.
  7. Elevate brand awareness. Leverage Episource’s incredible story to further our brand’s recognition with our audience. Serve as a gatekeeper and innovator, continuously implementing essential corporate brand standards, ensuring consistent voice and tone throughout all communication channels.
  8. Observe with an eye for improvement. Monitor, evaluate report content and adjust according to themes, analytics, and metrics.

What you will bring to Episource:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • B2B marketing experience
  • 10+ years of corporate communications experience
  • 5+ years of marketing communications in healthcare marketing
  • 5+ years of proven public relations/media relations experience in healthcare, information technology, or a similar field
  • 3+ years of social media experience with in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube
  • Experience with managing outside vendors, including design firms, advertising agencies, PR agencies, and web consultants
  • Superior writing skills: You will be asked for samples upon application
  • Persona-creation experience
  • Influential and inspirational team leadership experience
