Director of Engineering for unified data platform in specific and multiple engineering managers across the data-as-a-service value stream. Considered a culture driver and responsible to support our values for their function. Nurture our leadership practices among the people manager and people resourced from the vendor across multiple teams.

This remote, full-time, work-from-home role will report to Episource’s VP of Engineering.

Leverage your leadership skills.   • Build on your people's passion. Build deep relationships with Episource internally and externally by getting to know them personally and understanding their goals and challenges, which is essential to ensuring strategic alignment and mutual understanding of performance.

  • Observe with an eye for improvement. Author, manage, and deliver executive-level reporting, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports to help drive and translate recommendations into results. Develop and track key KPIs across the team to track strategic goals, milestones, and accomplishments, analyzing deep-dive data to identify inefficiencies, drive to root causes, and propose improvement recommendations.

  • In your first three months at Episource, you will establish open, trusted and collaborative relationships throughout the organization, while identifying inefficiencies in end-to-end system design You will also create opportunities to introduce long-lived processes and frameworks to guide work while facilitating cross-department architecture.
  • Throughout your next six months at Episource, you will develop a strategic integration plan encompassing crucial technical initiatives and resource adjustments. Align the team, facilitate necessary technology and process training, and implement the plan with precision.

  • By the end of your first year at Episource, you will be continuously managing and adapting strategies based on emerging data while conducting comprehensive impact assessments.

Here is what you’ll bring to the Expert Teams at Episource.

  • Seeking a seasoned leader with 5 years of people management expertise, including guiding managers and senior professionals and 8 years software engineering experience.

  • In search of a strategic leader with proven experience in guiding global software teams.

  • Experience in working with data-intensive applications and enterprise data platforms, preferably working with Snowflake, Kafka, and FHIR/healthcare-format.

  • Strong technical background to understand the complexities of software development projects, evaluate technical solutions, and guide the teams effectively.

Salary Range (or rate): $199,000-$249,000/yr
Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, and other relevant factors. This is Episource’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position as of the time of posting.
