Our client is headquartered in the SF Bay Area with multiple offices throughout the US and they are actively seeking a Director of Product. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing startup in the health tech industry. The company is currently at 180 employees with plans to 5x or more headcount next year. This position can be remote but must be willing to work core hours in PST.
The client is looking for a motivated Director of Product Management to drive the execution for our product team. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-performance environment and has a passion for healthcare. You will lead a team of Product Managers working on cross-functional teams for product development. This role partners closely with the executive and engineering team to define and drive the company’s roadmap planning process. You thrive in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment, work well as part of a dynamic cross-functional team, and can drive product strategy and execution.
This role reports to the Cofounder and President.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Partner closely with the Executive Team to set vision and strategy to enable us to hit physician and patient member targets and high-level targets
Manage a team of 4-5 Product Managers to create a personalized and integrated physician and patient experience before, during, and aftercare.
Collaborate with key stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Design, Customer Service)
Drive an understanding of user behavior through research and data analysis
Work closely with PMs and UI/UX teams to ensure initiatives seamlessly integrate and align with broader company objectives
Foster a culture of testing, learning, iterating through frequent A/B tests
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of Product Management experience, healthcare experience is highly desirable.
Track record of growing a product
Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching a team
Excellent business judgment and quantitative skills
Obsessively data-driven
Great communicator with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced setting
Detail-oriented
An easy-going, yet results-oriented demeanor
Passion for the customer
