Business Development Associate

To achieve this goal, we are in search of a proven business development associate with a strong drive to grow a business through increased revenue.  

As a Business Development Associate at Elevate, you will help grow our agency by generating and qualifying leads, working with prospects to identify their challenges and sell them the digital ecommerce services that best meets their customer, business and technical needs.


  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of our services

  • Identify new prospects through research

  • Add new prospects to the CRM system on a regular basis

  • Develop and manage email campaigns

  • Follow up with prospects via email and phone

  • Report all business development activities in the CRM system

  • Secure appointments with prospects for the Business Development team

  • Participate in calls with prospects, as needed

  • Assist the business development team in the creation of proposals and pitches

  • Assist in closing sales by understanding current and long-term customer needs and proposing the right solution

  • Track and report on the status of all proposal components

  • Work with Marketing team to align their efforts with the sales process

  • Assist in developing sales projections, budgets and pricing

  • Report outcome of negotiations/proposals that effectively sets expectations for teams going forward, i.e. clear details, critical timeframes and expectations

  • Assist in development of and report on pipeline metrics

  • Meet or exceed quotas


  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university is preferred

  • 4-5 years of technology and/or creative sales experience, preferably in the ecommerce industry

  • Proven ability to secure appointments with new prospects

  • Proven consultative sales solution skills

  • Experience working with CRM systems (Agile CRM or Hubspot)

  • Demonstrated ability of meeting or exceeding quotas

  • Demonstrated success in driving and closing deals

  • Have successfully sold digital eCommerce solutions to Director level stakeholders

  • A passion and understanding of our service and approach and how it assists brands

  • Strong relationship development skills

  • Strong presentation skills and demonstrated effectiveness communicating with key stakeholders

  • Ability to bring existing clients/work with you would be extremely desirable

  • Strong technical aptitude
