Senior Account Manager

Relationship Management | Chicago, IL | Full Time

Job Description
The Senior Account Manager position is both a relationship-building and strategic growth position within the agency that works directly with our clients regarding their business requirements, digital strategy, and overall goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Client/Account Management

  • Act as the day-to-day agency relationship contact with specific clients 
  • Act as a strategic partner both with the clients as well as the agency, taking the proactive approach to thinking through digital initiatives even prior to being engaged with a client
  • Draft and deliver scopes of work for new projects in conjunction with team leads from all disciplines
  • Work with team on implementation of strategic ideas 
  • Lead brainstorming and presentation efforts to drive new business
  • Assist team and agency leadership in any business decisions pertaining to overall company growth  
  • Prepare for, facilitate and lead client reviews
  • Manage and regularly report the status of client budgets
  • Actively engage in growing current client relationships
  • Identify and cultivate new business relationships
  • Represent Company at client and general industry related events
Client Growth
  • Develop plans that connect client brands to their online consumers
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of client’s priorities and goals
  • Build and maintain client KPI’s 
Project Management
  • Work in cooperation with the Project Management team to ensure that projects move through the agency on-time and within budget
        
Job Skills and Requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Able to manage multiple projects and team members simultaneously
  • Demonstrate strength in communication, presentation, leadership and negotiation skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to function independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Comfortable managing within a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Proficient in G-Suite 
  • Ability to easily engage in CRM, Project Management, and general business softwares
  • Have a general understanding of Google Analytics 
Education and/or Experience
  • 3-5 years in an Account Management role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent years of additional industry related experience
  • Digital agency experience preferred
