Project and Account Manager
Relationship Management | Chicago, IL | Full Time
The Project and Account Manager will help lead projects through the agency. They will be involved in every facet of the project, from inception to completion, and ensure deliverables are completed successfully on time and within budget. The ideal person will have both Project Management and Account Management experience with Digital Agencies.
The company is currently working 100% remotely but we would prefer candidates be in the Central time zone, ideally in the Chicagoland area.
Primary Project Management Responsibilities
Assist in leading projects through all touch points and internal teams within the agency
Ensure work and tasks are communicated and routed to appropriate team members
Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports and meeting notes
Develop timelines
Create agendas for meetings
Update project management tool
Schedule internal reviews
Facilitate and possibly lead internal status meetings
Client/Account Management Responsibilities
Fill in at times as agency relationship contact with clients
Assist in preparation and facilitation of client reviews
Draft meeting notes for distribution internally and externally
Assist account management with budget allocation and tracking across clients on a weekly basis
Other duties as needed
Job Skills and Requirements
Proficiency in project management principles and software including (but not limited to) Microsoft Project, Excel and timesheet systems
Able to manage multiple team members and projects simultaneously
Strong communication, presentation, leadership and negotiation skills
Ability to function independently and in a collaborative environment
Comfortable managing within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Education and/or Experience
4-6 years in a project management role
Experience in account management
Bachelor’s degree in related field a plus
Digital agency experience required
