Senior Accountant w/ Active TS/SCI & Poly

Hours: Full time (day)

Clearance: TS/SCI & Poly

Location: Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA)

Required Education & Certifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • CPA

Required Experience: 3 years of professional accounting experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong written communication skills to compose and deliver highly technical responses to senior management and customers’ inquiries and concerns.
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to compile data, analyze it, and develop financial reports.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver briefings on financial topics to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to obtain considerable knowledge of Finance procedures and policies 
specific to the area of assignment.
  • Considerable knowledge of quality assurance procedures to ensure data integrity 
and timeliness of the data.
  • Experience with the client’s financial systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel software  


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with MicrosoftOutlook, Word, and PowerPoint software
  • Experience with developing and maintaining reports in Cognos
  • Working knowledge of processing intergovernmental funds transfer
  • Experience with the different phases of an audit (planning, testing, analysis, and reporting)
