Mid Level HUMINT Targeting Officer (HTO)
Hours: Full time (day)
Required Clearance: Top Secret / SCI with CI Poly
Location: Washington, DC
HTOs support HUMINT operations by identifying individuals with access to national-security related information. The HTO collaborates with collection managers to identify critical information gaps and performs all-source analysis including social network analysis and geospatial analysis to identify potential human sources that can resolve these information needs. The HTO compiles this information into clear concise packages which are delivered to HUMINT collectors for action. HTOs also work directly with HUMINT collectors to support ongoing HUMINT operations over the entire life cycle of the operation. Mid-Level HTOs have a solid understanding of HUMINT operations and the other major intelligence disciplines. They are able to work semi-autonomously in demanding, highly dynamic environments.
- 4-6 plus years intelligence collection, analysis, or targeting experience.
- Experience conducting or supporting HUMINT collection operations.
- Specialized training in one of the following: Graduate of Fundamentals of HUMINT Targeting Course (FHTC), or similar accredited DoD or IC level HUMINT Targeting course.
