Human Resources Administrator

Hours:  Full time (day)

Location:  McLean, VA

Required Clearance:  Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Required Education:  High Diploma

Required Qualifications:  1-3 years job-related experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to serve as a Recorder at promotions, interviews, career board.Create Career Board agenda's and in finalize Board minutes.

  • Ability to create Standard Operations Procedures, HR related Office Policies.

  • BS/BS in Business Management

HR Administrator will post vacancies in the Sponsor's system, verify the eligibility of the applicants and forward the viable applications packages to managers.  They will also coordinate interview panels, provide interview/selection process guidance and sample selection memo to interview panel chair.  The HR Administrator will review selection memo for consistency and accuracy and place the selection memo into the database as an Agenda item for Officer Senior Leadership Team review/approval.  They will also, maintain a vacancy notice spreadsheet and update vacancy status.   The HR Administrator will also ensure that the interview panel rep has taken the Equity Assurance training and once the selection has been approved, coordinate the release date. HR Administrator serves as the POC for all Detailee and Rotational Assignments to include coordinating with the Joint Duty POCs and Office POCs to established reports dates and ensure that the appropriate documentation is prepared and signed.  The HR Administrator will provide HR guidance to officers when they come to HR for assistance via in person or through emails. HR Administrator serves as the POC for queries, submits Requests in Sponsor system for employees that need specialized access or are removing specialized access and provides employees that are arriving or departing the office check-in/check-out sheet. HR Administrator will provide HR guidance to officers when they come to HR for assistance via in person or through emails.  The candidate should have the ability to interpret policies/regulations in response to routine to complex queries. HR Administrator will answer questions related to pay.
