What You’re Applying For:
As a Supervisor, Vehicle Data you'll be a key part of the team responsible for the first step in getting all of Edmunds' core data entered and published for our shoppers and partners. It all starts with timely, accurate, useful vehicle data.
What You’ll Do:
Your mission, will be to help acquire, interpret, standardize, and publish a highly comprehensive vehicle data set. You’ll also be responsible for setting the stage for your fellow team members to achieve their best results in pursuit of that goal as well.
We deal with a lot of data! It’s all data, all the time. Yes, it’s the proverbial “fast paced environment!” Our shoppers and partners drive us to do what it takes to provide them the information they need in order to accomplish their goals.
What You Need:
This role requires strong knowledge of automotive terminology, trends, and technology. You’ll also need functional understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Google Apps. We have a proprietary tool you’ll use to capture the data, but a basic or advanced understanding of the underlying relational data base would be a plus. Last but not least, you’ll need “the people skills. We’re a friendly bunch that feels a sense of mission in everything we do-and we aim to keep it that way! Prior automotive industry experience is definitely not “frowned upon in this establishment”.
